CHROME STEEL BALLS AISI 52100 UNI 100C6 (ШХ 15)
These balls are commonly used in precision ball bearings and find wide application in industry. Balls made of this material are characterized by their excellent surface polishing, sufficient hardness and ability to carry heavy loads, excellent wear resistance and resistibility to deformations. The Chrome Steel Balls are hardened through to obtain maximal mechanical strength.

Technical Requirements
The balls are to be produced in compliance with requirements to the present standard according to the working drawings approved at the stated order.
The balls have to be made of steel according to GOST 801-78 and GOST 4727-67. It’s allowed to produce the balls of other steel grades upon customer’s request.
The balls are to be heat treated:
up to hardness HRC 62…66 – at diameters up to 45 mm;
up to hardness HRC 60…66 – at diameters more than 45 mm.
There are 10 balls accuracy grades designated in the order of degradation of accuracy with the following numbers: 3;5;10;16;20;28;40;60;100;200.
Mean diameter deviation, difference of balls sizes in a batch, single diameter variation, sphericity deviation (not considering waviness) and surface roughness shall not override.
The balls of sizes over 45 mm have to pass a compression test. Test compressive load and ball diameter change under the load depending on ball size are to be in compliance with the following values:
Ball nominal diameter Dw mm | 46,038 | 50,8 | 60 | 76,2 | 100 | 101,6 | 150 |
